.What are LED sheets?
What are LED sheets? The LED sheet is a versatile product containing multiple LED chips that produce consistent light. It can be easily modified to fit curved surfaces and can also be cut into various shapes. These flat LED sheets can be joined to cover large and irregular spaces, making them perfect for a wide range of lighting needs.LED sheet lighting is commonly utilized in establishments such as bars, restaurants, and retail stores for illuminating stone surfaces like marble and onyx, as well as translucent materials like glass and acrylic. There are single color, dual color, RGB, RGBW, RGBWW and programmable LED sheets for you to select.
Our LED light sheets offer customizable colors to meet your specific needs, thanks to the included controller. The most popular option is the RGB LED sheet, which can be placed beneath marble to produce a serene, artistic light that highlights the natural veins of the stone. This creates a sophisticated and refined atmosphere. Click the PDF below for more information.

Is LED light panel sheet as thin as paper?

The LED light sheets are often referred to as "paper thin," yet their thickness is slightly more than ordinary A4 paper and has a texture reminiscent of cardboard used for creating posters.
The thickness of a standard A4 paper is 0.1mm, but an LED light sheet panel is thicker at 0.5mm. However, when taking into account the height of the LEDs, the total thickness of the LED sheet is 1.2mm. Mounting the LED sheet with connectors will increase thickness significantly, to approximately 7mm.

Can you cut these LED light sheets?

LED lighting sheets offer the unique advantage of being easily cuttable, making it a versatile and customizable lighting solution. The sheets are clearly marked with black horizontal, vertical, and 45° diagonal lines to assist with precise cutting.

The shapes you desire can be cut using scissors along the designated black lines and placed into tight spaces with a cuttable LED sheet. The minimum unit for cutting is an LED. However, it is important to protect the cutting edge with RTV silicone sealant or conformal coating if it will come into contact with a conductive surface.

Can you bend or fold Sheet LED?

As a product or industry expert, it is important to note that LED panel sheets are highly flexible and can be easily bent into various shapes, such as circular or wavy. However, it is crucial to follow specific guidelines when bending to avoid damage to the circuit board. While sharp angles should be avoided, 90-degree hard bends and soft bends are acceptable. This flexibility allows for the sheet to meet any necessary needs.

To create square corners, you can utilize a flexible LED light sheet while ensuring that the edges of the corner align with the black cutting line on the sheet instead of simply folding it at random. For additional bending guidance, consult the attached PDF for instructions on cutting and creating square corners.
ow to connect different pieces of sheet LED?

Sheet lights LED can be connected in two primary ways, by wires or by connectors.

When soldering using wire, each LED has pinpoints on the top, bottom, left, and right side to choose from. The power consumption of a single LED sheet is approximately 300W, and it is recommended to use 20AWG wire for soldering. For connecting multiple sheet lights LED, we recommend 18AWG wire. Avoid using 16AWG wire as it is too thick to fit properly into the pinpoints. Our LED light sheets are of high-quality and available at the best price, along with compatible soldering wires. Additionally, we offer soldering services for your convenience.

The connectors attached to the sheets are an excellent method of connection, offering both lightness and speed. In addition, they can be easily removed whenever needed - simply hold the LED sheet panel and twist the connectors with pliers either clockwise or counterclockwise to loosen them.
What are LED sheet lights used for?

LED sheets for backlighting

In various establishments such as clubs, bars, upscale restaurants, and hotels, you have likely observed evenly lit marble or onyx pieces that are installed on table tops or walls. The distinct patterns in the stone cast shadows in the light, producing a distinctive ambiance in dim settings that is both striking and revitalizing. This impressive lighting effect is achieved by using an LED backlight sheet.

The LED panel sheet is useful not only for marble onyx stone, but also for illuminating other translucent materials, such as stained glass.

LED sheets for signage lighting

LED sheets are commonly used for signage lighting, where they can be cut into various letters or shapes and inserted into the appropriate large letter forms. To diffuse the light, diffusers are then placed over the sheets.

LED sheet lights, compared to modular lights on small hard boards, have a higher density of LEDs. This results in a more uniform light emission, making them ideal for indoor use. However, it should be noted that LED sheeting is not waterproof.

LED sheets for large scale commercial ceiling lighting

The modular LED sheets are easily connectable and have a long-lasting design, making them an ideal choice for large-scale commercial ceiling lighting projects. They are secured to the ceiling and covered by translucent flat panels, providing seamless and continuous illumination. These sheets are commonly used in hotel lobbies, garages, warehouses, and shopping malls due to their clean, bright, and attractive appearance.

LED sheets have multiple uses, including backlighting, letter lighting, and commercial ceiling lighting for large-scale applications. They can also be used in billboards, retail displays, museum exhibits, trade shows, and even home lighting. These sheets are uniquely designed to provide both extensive illumination and subtle edge lighting.

How to install LED light sheet?

These LED lighting sheets feature adhesive backing, making application quick and easy. Simply remove the backing paper and adhere the sheets to any desired surface. It's a hassle-free process that takes just a few minutes, providing a more convenient alternative to using nails or screws.

Step-By-Step Guide

1. Measure the dimensions of your desired surface for applying an LED backlight sheet, then calculate the appropriate quantity and dimensions of LED sheets to purchase based on these measurements.
2. Connect LED sheet lights together by wire or connector.
3. Choose right power supply and controller for LED panel sheet.Recommendation: The power supply voltage must match the voltage of the LED sheet. For optimal performance, the driver wattage should be 1.2 times the total

wattage of the LED sheets.

When powering 4 pieces of 24V 60W LED lighting sheets, make sure the voltage of the power supply matches at 24V. The total wattage for these 4 pieces would be 4 pieces x 60W=240W. Therefore, the power supply wattage should be 240W x 1.2=288W (slightly above).

4. Connect power supply and controller to LED light sheet panel, turn them on and ready for use.
